David Coleman serves as a one-year Research Assistant for CLIIR. Born in central Maine, he completed his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota in 2017. After that, he worked at Epic Systems in Wisconsin for two years before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. He then moved to Virginia to complete a post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at the University of Virginia. In the coming year, he will be working with CLIIR to investigate the impacts of the digitalization on modern medicine as he applies to medical schools for the 2021 application cycle.

In his free time, David enjoys reading novels, exploring San Francisco by foot and bike, and doting on his cat, Fitz.
