Incubator Meetings

The mission of the Division of Hospital Medicine Incubator is to provide a collaborative environment that promotes scholarship for UCSF trainees and faculty.

Faculty in the UCSF Division of Hospital Medicine (DHM) pursue broad and diverse interests in teaching, quality improvement, cost reduction, patient safety, global health, palliative care, and clinical research.

The DHM Incubator is a forum where researchers, clinicians, and educators meet to provide tools and guidance necessary to promote scholarly projects across the range of our Division's activities, by connecting individuals with complementary skills and interests and providing necessary mentorship and peer support.

We define scholarship broadly, including evaluation of quality improvement, global health or other health system innovations, as well as advancements in medical education and traditional clinical research.

The Incubator welcomes a broad range of projects, including grant applications, papers, abstracts, and oral presentations, in any phase of preparation.
