Binu Kolenchery earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from Saint Louis University. She began her career at a trauma-informed care training start-up in St. Louis, where she developed the organization's evaluation infrastructure. She then served as an AmeriCorps Volunteer and Sexual Health Educator to provide access to HIV/STI testing and counseling and inclusive safe sex education for unhoused, LGBTQ+, young people in Chicago. Prior to joining Heal, she was a Public Health Administrator at the Chicago Department of Public Health. Binu is passionate about building efficient systems and processes to best serve marginalized communities and is thrilled to join HEAL as a Program Associate.
