Andy Lai and DGIM/SFVA colleagues published a clinical case in the New England Journal of Medicine. In it, they describe the complex course of a patient he cared for while on the hospital wards. Andy worked closely with Dr. Leslie Sheu and Dr. Lianne Gensler, the patient’s outpatient physicians, to develop the piece under the mentorship of Dr. Gurpreet Dhaliwal.
