DHM Incubator: Periprocedural code status changes among patients undergoing cardiac procedures

Goals:

1. Assess the demographic, clinical and procedural characteristics of patients who underwent select percutaneous cardiovascular procedures stratified based on who did and who did not have a periprocedural code status change.
2. Determine procedural complication rates and types, mortality rates and common causes of death among those with and without periprocedural code status changes. 
3. Use the newly implemented advanced care planning tool to analyze the processes leading up to code status changes in patients undergoing percutaneous cardiovascular procedures.
