Goals:
- Assess the demographic, clinical and procedural characteristics of patients who underwent select percutaneous cardiovascular procedures stratified based on who did and who did not have a periprocedural code status change.
- Determine procedural complication rates and types, mortality rates and common causes of death among those with and without periprocedural code status changes.
- Use the newly implemented advanced care planning tool to analyze the processes leading up to code status changes in patients undergoing percutaneous cardiovascular procedures.
