Jack Fukushima

Jack Fukushima serves as the Curriculum Coordinator for the HEAL Initiative. He received his BA in Public Health from UC Berkeley where he worked on and critiqued a number of global health projects in India, Uganda, and Nepal. Having studied the many different effects NGOs can have on resource-denied communities, Jack is interested in the concept of community in global health and how it is variously defined by global health institutions as well as people living in the Global South.
