Sangeeta Prabhakar Bhat, MD

Sangeeta is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine with a keen interest in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. She is a faculty member in Quality Improvement Projects for residents and a career mentor at St. Mary's Hospital. She is also the Divisional Lead for Diversity in the Recruitment and Hiring Committee and has actively participated in outreach and pipeline development programs for the division. Non-academic interests include diversifying her skill set by attending training programs and workshops for Teaching, Ethics Committee, Communication and Leadership Programs. One of her career goals is to consistently promote diversity, equity and inclusion among students and residents.
She believes in work-life balance and spends time outside of work with colleagues by participating in social and networking events.
