Varsha Subramanyam is the Curriculum Officer at HEAL. She has experience working on programs focused on advocacy, violence prevention, health equity, patient-provider communication, and sexual and reproductive health. Varsha has her MPH degree from the University of North Carolina (UNC) Chapel Hill and her BA degree in international relations from Boston University. Before joining UCSF, she was the Associate Director of Communications and Campus Engagement at UNC’s Injury Prevention Research Center. Varsha enjoys playing badminton, cooking, and “aww” ing at other people’s dogs.
