Aksharananda Rambachan, MD, MPH

Assistant Professor

Aksharananda (Akshar) Rambachan joined the UCSF Division of Hospital Medicine in 2020. He is a hospital-based physician investigator who uses primary and secondary data from diverse cohorts of hospitalized patients to promote equitable hospital-based care and better clinical outcomes for hospitalized patients. He is currently focused on improving pain assessment, management, and outcomes in older adults, especially those made more vulnerable due to their personal characteristics and ability to communicate.
