Erin Yao-Cohen, MD

Assistant Professor

Dr. Erin Yao-Cohen is a hospitalist within the Division of Hospital Medicine at Parnassus. She co-leads the division's Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). Her clinical and academic interests are focused on patient advocacy and engagement, and innovative ways to support patients and their advocates during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to joining DHM in 2019, Dr. Yao-Cohen worked as a full-time primary care provider in the community. She maintains an interest in transitions of care.
