Logan Pierce, MD

Assistant Professor

Logan Pierce, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics. He practices clinically as both a Hospitalist and a Proceduralist, and also works with multiple Informatics groups across UCSF to extract and analyze data from the Electronic Health Record to transform care delivery in the health system.

Dr. Pierce is currently the Managing Director for the Department of Medicine Data Core. Data Core is a group of physicians trained in clinical data science, who offer data extraction and visualization support to clinical divisions at UCSF.
